History:  
A foreign noble who lives abroad in Galideno City, she is a Lady of the Lovecrest Family who have ties in both Galideno City and Izhevesk. The Lovecrests are Snow Elves who have decided to live a more modernistic lifestyle as opposed to their ancestral kin who live in the wilds of Minktail or the icy plains of the 'White Vastness' with the Oma. They are a family of wealth and influence in Izhevesk, the nation to the Far North, above Domescadia, but also have a small estate in Galideno City. This Estate, aptly named the 'Lovecrest Estate' is where Lady Iris lives. Iris is current heiress to the Lovecraft name, as she has no siblings or other relatives besides her father. She has, for the most part, taken to living in Galideno City against the wishes of her father, who wishes her to be the next Tzarina of Izhevesk if he can manipulate the Royal Izheveskian court enough to accept her daughter as a legitimate suitor to the crown prince. She herself, has some pride in her family name, as they own Lovecrest Cigarettes as well as a very successful shipping company throughout Galiavan; however doesn't abuse that name to get what she wants.

She can be described as a kind, soft spoken, and rather light-heated Elf, but if something needs to be done, she will 'strap on her boots' and do all that is necessary to complete the task at hand.

She works a modest job as a Keeper of Records in the Galideno City Archives, located inside the Galideno Central Library that is located inside Tenik Tower.

-Lovecrest Family Officer's Rapier: An heirloom of a bygone age, it is a rapier style estoc but with a shorter blade. It's basket hilt is gilded, with fancy inscribed designs etched into the shell around the guard. The blade is plain, shorter than the standard rapier or long sword (though longer than a dagger) with no design or inlay, however it is made of polished mithril, which makes it sturdy, light as a feather (the only weighty part of this blade is the hilt), and gleam a pale silver in the darkness. The sword is particularly effective at splitting chainmail and piercing gaps in armor. Due to the narrowness of the blade, it has no discernible cutting edge but a very strong point.

-Hell's Dragon's: A decorated rapier with an offhand six-shot ball and cap revolver. It was the heirloom of a family friend to the Lovecrests, left to them after their demise in the battle of Guardian Mountains. Perhaps a little outdated, do not judge them for their appearance as they are still powerful weapons. Iris sometimes adorns these when she is attending court, as both for show and practicality and self-defense.

-Healing Touch: She can heal light and moderate wounds on the fly, mending injuries with a mix of herbal and magical practices.
-Magic Mist: A mist of varying color expels from her hand, that acts with the elements of fire, ice, and lightning to that which is covered by the mist. The deadly attack can put a particularly strong foe, even one with resistances to his knees.
-Magic Arrow/Bullet: Imbues the same properties of 'Magic Mist' to an arrowhead or the bullets chambered in a gun, and thus causes similar effects plus physical damage from the projectile.
-Ice Daggers: Can create multiple shards of ice from moisture in the air and then send them (rather telekinetically) at her foes. They can pierce and shatter upon impact with her target.
-Ice: She is attuned with the element of ice, and can summon it in various ways if the area allows.

History:  
The staunch protector and Regent of the Vladimirovna family since the ascension of Tsar Alexei Sergei Vladimirovna the First. She is a stoic, icy and placid individual whose origins are a mystery aside from being exiled from the Minktail Elven Society around the rise to the Vladimirovna throne. The current Tsar’s Grandfather recruited her in his quest for the Izheveskian throne, and through a combat bond she managed to get him into the seat of power. She has since kept watch over the throne and the Royal Family as it’s ‘Immortal Regent’.

She trained the next of kin in battle, being trained in a unique style, somewhat resemblant to that of the Scardians and their White Swords of old. She found Alexei the Third to be the most problematic, but it is with him, the current Tsar of Izhevesk, that she has devoted her absolute loyalty with, and was perhaps her greatest student.

Her personality is ‘self contained’, as stated prior. She opens up hardly to anyone aside from a select few. Another question is to how she tamed her unicorn mount, Nightwind. Notorious as they are rare, they represent unparalleled freedom and purity to which none but the rarest few have the ability to tame and ride one, given how they will only choose female riders and will slay any who attempt to ride them with their massive horn. Nightwind was with her when she first entered the lands, so when, how, and where she tamed him is up for debate.

History:
An elder Elf who has been around for 1000 years, and though she has seen much in her time, considers herself still a student in the ways of the world, and makes use of her longevity by learning new traits and traditions of the peoples around her.

As a student, she is an attendant of a College in Galideno. For a woman who is 1000 years old and a mother of her daughter Lorien (who is expected to get married to one of the Noble Houses in Minktail soon), she is looking quite well. Before her eternal bonding, she was perhaps one of her clan’s more nubile and beautiful women, even rivaling the Duke’s daughter in beauty, and if she had not already bonded with her mate, would perhaps still be. Her husband, Etoix Loraethan, was a modest but sweet individual whom she betrothed several centuries ago, and together the mated pair had their Lorien.

Unfortunately, Etoix was devoured by the Minktail flora a few centuries back, and thus, as tradition dictates, must not marry again less soil the bond she had with Etoix for ‘Love’ is eternal in the High Elf belief.

It is from her sorrow, she became a soldier, guide, and an expert scout. She now leads the Province’s Elven Scouts as a Major, her Codename (for all Elven Scouts use them in the field) being ‘Mother Widow’. The Elven Scouts are only distinguishable by their Red Berets and Capes/Scarves. They move so silently yet quickly, and blend in so stealthily, the red accessories ‘are but a blur in the green’, as the High Elves say. Arrogantly proud of her abilities, she is also the training instructor for all aspiring Scouts to the Kingdom.

Though arrogant in her capabilities, she is highly skilled in athletics, hand to hand fighting and ranged combat. She has also pressured the Kings to focus the scouts in all manner of weaponry, and eventually they were trained by the Gunslinger Academy in Izhevesk in the use of modern guns in exchange for jungle training. She is very proficient in the use of modern firearms, and even has a few custom weapons she received in the form of ‘gifts’.

When she isn’t being referred to as ‘Major Loraethan/Major Alleyne’, she is ‘Mother Alleyne’ or ‘Elder Mother’. She somehow balances the stress and hard work of an Elven Scout and the complacency of her duties with the genuine sweetness of a grandmother figure to many of the Elven children of her home village. She is an Oracle, or the storyteller, of the Clan she is a part of, and is responsible for keeping the traditions and stories of the Clan in tact.

She is a woman of multiple dualities, between tradition & practicality, and arrogance & the willingness to learn more.

-Enhanced Spearmanship: She demonstrates a natural aptitude in the way of polearms. Alleyne is able to wield any kind of polearm with great speed, power, and skill. As one of the largest (or at least longest) classes of weapon that can be carried by normal humans, users of this ability excel in keeping enemies at bay and maintaining a superior position in combat, having a great advantage, at a distance, over opponents wielding smaller melée weapons.

  • High Jump: She can jump to an alarming height with a conjured compressed air around her body which produces an insane amount of lift.

  • Air Blast: Can send a blast of air like a barrier at her opponents to knock them onto their backs.
  • Air Explosion: Can cause the air to ‘explode’ in a non-lethal concussive blast which ‘pops’ the hearing of her targets.

She is a student at the White Tower of Scardia, in accordance to the traditions of old, in which an Elf of Minktail assisted the knights of Scardia during the era of Scar’d and his liberation and formation of the modern day country. Chosen by her clan to fill this honorary role, she was sent abroad at the age of 30 (young for Elves) to learn the Scardian way of life and war. She is paving the way to her knighthood, which will fortify the bond between Minktail and the Scardian Royal Knighthood once she’s completed her training.

Though she is, in her eyes, giving honor to her clan for taking this role, Ana’s birth was considered somewhat a contributing factor to her being sent away due to the controversial manner in which she was born. Her mother, Lorien, became pregnant prior to her bonding ceremony with Ana’s father, resulting with Anastasia being born before their bonding. Henceforth, she now carries the surname of her Grandmother, the clan’s Oracle, or storyteller, instead of her father’s. This lead to much speculation among the High Elves, which alienated Ana growing up. She was raised by her parents, but learned more from her Grandmother, Alleyne, in the ways of her people when it came to lore, scavenging and hunting.

When she first met the round-eared mortals of Scardia, she felt like she had been abducted and thrown into a different dimension. She found their lot bothersome and odd in her beginning years at the White Tower, and her fellow Page’s at the time found her just as exotic, given her Elven heritage and the fact she was… short and childlike. Though, she was not treated any different by any of the teachers and Knights in the White Tower. Sir Hrothor Brightblade, the Grandmaster of the Tower, is one such teacher she looks up to, and has since continued to be inspired by his philosophy and teachings.

In practice of warfare, Anastasia has been looked upon by her fellow peers as an accomplished swordswoman, possessing a terrifyingly cold and expressionless visage when in sword practice. Her large, blue eyes glare calculatingly upon her enemy, her form is swift and graceful with a unexpected power residing behind such an otherwise short and frail form. She has proven to be a formidable foe against even seasoned Knights, and along with her bladework is skilled with weapons like guns, which she sometimes pairs with her bladework. Aside from physical feats of combat, she is also very skilled at piloting military vehicles and has a grasp on the newer age technology coming out in the present age.

A studious Squire, she keeps to herself mostly at the White Tower, focusing mostly on training and study. Though she is friendly with the other Squires of her class, somewhat notably with Levi Titanwood whose determination to become a Knight almost rivals her own.

History:
Aurien Niraeya Loraethore, one of the High Priestesses of Minktail’s more secular sect of Elves. They are healers and incredibly talented white mages trained in the White and Esoteric Arts of Naturalism, and are more in tune with nature than most Elves. Aurien is of no exception to this. Since she was an elfling, she has been studying and practicing the art of ecokinesis and white magic. She is very sensitive to the natural world, and wherever she is roaming she is connected to the ebb and flow of mana and nature around her, and is able to tap into it.

She has been travelling around the planet, healing areas of ‘malignancy’ that seem to appear out of nowhere and seemingly at random. These dark spots seem to be connected to the politics of the day, but she is not too versed in the squabble between the mortal races of man, save for the destruction that is left in the wake of their ignorance.

However, recent years have seen the disturbance of black spots increase in both severity and frequency. Many centered around the darkening land of Domescadia, and spreading from there. Aurien does not know why it is happening, yet, but intends to find out.

  • Nature Channeling: Nature channeling is an ability used by most Faeries that allows them to project and manipulate mystical, arcane energy. Connor hasn’t yet mastered the ability, in his life. The ability has been described as 'nature itself' and can easily harm any human within close range. A Fae with this ability can channel nature through their body and project it in a concentrated and powerful blast of light which seems to manifest as magical energy or a kinetic force, conclusively throwing or repelling objects a considerable distance. This power has been displayed to contain mysterious supernatural effects, such as breaking illusion and reversing/removing spells. Nature channeling is also the core feature of Fae magic and can be used for a number of purposes other than offensive blasts.
  • Psychic Shield: She is highly resistant to any/all mental intrusion, including psychic or empathic powers, Hypnosis, Mental Hallucination, deception, etc. Mind readers only “hear” static, while mind controllers are incapable of manipulating her shielded.

As mentioned, she’s quite curvaceous, thick bodied with a toned belly and core thanks to years of dancing. A dark tribal tattoo crawls up the side of her right leg, from her ankle up past her right hip and ends around her mid-to-upper ribs. Snake Dancer Gear: Traditional garments of a Desert Elf Snake Dancer, meant to keep one cool in the dry air of the Domescadian Desert. This garment is not standard Snake Dancer Barding, however, and has been modified by Yrdrea to fit her needs. Consisting of leather, and in sheets of fine dridder silk dyed deep black and purple, fastened via dwarven bronze adorned pieces and a harem choker with a rubedite gem at its center. She wears purple dragon scaled leather thigh boots with six inch heels adorned with dwarven bronze. Her outfit is essentially a backless, strapless, cleavage focused high leg corset/thong leotard fastened to her aforementioned harem choker, with a stomach cut out and purple gauze material allowing one to see her toned abs and belly button. A black-purple gradient silk drape hangs over her ass in six tails that have a red stylized flame acting as the fabric’s decorative trim. A pair of brown leather garter belts attach her thigh boots to her aforementioned leotard/corset, to the skinny straps of her high leg leather thong. She wears a pair of black silk upper arm length bridal gloves that have gold trim. On her right arm, she wears a full arm plate gauntlet made of dwarven bronze with long fingernail like blades that are the same length of the fingernails of Yrdrea’s left hand (she files the left hand so it can match the length of the gauntlet’s nails/claws), and a bracer on her left arm that actually slingshots three two and a half foot long, barbed, rubedite claws when not set in place, protecting her left arm.

History:
From the Great Nomadic Tribes of Desert Elves that once populated Domescadia’s sands intensely, Yrdrea is of the many ‘non-turned’ Desert Elves who remain in the vast badlands. Though she is no longer nomadic, having joined Abdel Adham’s rally to arms and becoming an official citizen of his kingdom, she follows the customs of her ancestors, and is one of the few ‘un-turned’ Desert Elves who are still able to transform her body into both the lamia and Golden Cobra forms at will, traditionally known as ‘Snake Dancers’.

Yrdrea is one of Abdel’s Shadow Tamers, one of the few who are not clones. This means she is in charge of the monsters and primitive demonic entities who are under his armies’ dominion, and are his more ‘edgy’ way of saying beast masters. She can quell the vicious beasts with her whip-like blade, far more easily than the fleshy clones and its a trait that most Desert Elves are capable of. She is a power and money oriented kind of woman, who enjoys the extended freedoms granted to her and the remaining number of her people who haven’t yet ‘turned’ by Abdel. She is willing to lay her life on the line for him, and to prove if others are worthy of his time and compassion. She has a distaste for arrogance that is not backed by personal power; seeing someone who has not proven their worth gloat about how ‘better they are’ really pisses her off, and said individual- be they man or intelligent beast, have a high chance of being tested in a feat of strength and might with her blades, oftentimes Yrdrea challenging them outright based on their speech patterns.

-Yrdrea’s Snake Dancer Blade: It looks like a typical whip, but its an ancient Desert Elf traditional weapon used to tame wild beasts, disarm opponents and slay enemies both near and far. Made of braided rubedite and ebony dridder silk cordage, the cord begins to take a flater, thinner edge made of a very thin and flexible sheet of rubedite and ebony steel alloy that takes many years to flatten and make thin enough to be flexible and yet not fragile, and ends with a partially knife like, mostly square edge. By gripping the long two hand hilt/handle of the ‘whip’ in a particular manner, a current will flow through the blade that will stiffen it instantly; turning the whip into an eight foot long great sword that is as light as a feather. It takes some practice to properly switch the modes on the fly, especially midst combat, but becomes quite a flexible tool when fighting many enemies in close to mid range from her. On the flat sides of the ‘blade’ are individual lines of rubedite blades that traverse in a spiral, ‘screw’ like fashion in pairs from ‘blade tip’ to the wrapped braiding that juts out the shaft/hilt. The only other adornments are a pair of dwarven bronze caps on both ends of the hilt that are engraved in ancient Desert Elvish script.

-Yrdrea’s Gauntlet: Mentioned in her outfit, her right arm gauntlet plating has been made to protect her from blunt and piercing damage, as well as protect her arm from her Dancer Blade, for even being a master of the weapon, it can still be unpredictable at times. The armor is fully articulate, allowing her fluid movement with her arm and fingers, of which are outfitted with sharpened talon like nails that mimic the shape of her left hand’s natural nails. Because of this, her right hand’s fingernails are short, well manicured to allow her comfortable use with the gauntlet, but the artificial talons allow her a literal edge to hand to hand combat in the event she is stripped of her default weaponry.

-Yrdrea’s Rubedite Feral Bracer: Also mentioned before in her outfit, Yrdrea’s left arm bracer acts as both a shield when the three barbed blades are set into the base, or when needed, can sling shot outwards to act as martial art claws to fend off opponents. The three blades are made of sharpened rubedite, with serrations and back facing barbs to cling onto flesh/armor/scales, allowing her extra grip, or with enough strength, allow Yrdrea to tear out massive chunks of flesh or strip armor from her opponent. The blades extend about two and a half feet each, and can retract back into their dwarven bronze base with a deliberate flick of her wrist and tug of a leather thong attached to the mechanism which retracts and slingshots the three blades. There is a slight delay in retracting, but slinging the blades out is almost instantaneous.

  • Nature Channeling: Nature channeling is an ability used by most Faeries that allows them to project and manipulate mystical, arcane energy. Connor hasn’t yet mastered the ability, in his life. History:
The Sea Elves are an extinct race of Elves who once prospered in the Beijio area millennia before modern civilization- in fact, they were the most civilized race that eventually blossomed into the Benzi Empire, with the 'Dragon Emperor' being supposedly part sea elf and part dragon. Sea elves were silver or white haired, red eyed elves only seen in the Beijio area. They were also known as the 'Shiekah' which in their language meant, 'those who serve in the shadows'. They slowly became extinct whilst breeding with local humans, creating a hybrid of humans that would later become known as the 'Beijionese' in modern times. The Shiekah and the Sea Elves of Beijio were noted to be a delicacy to monsters and man-eating beasts, and were quite literally 'eaten out of existence'. No one knows how many of them still exist, supposedly they have a commune hidden away in the Beijio Mountains... but nothing is certain.

Shiek, or Kilyn Umeyarus, is a full blooded Sea Elf, one of her last. She was around during the Benzi Period, raised to be the Emperor's Spymaster and Shiek, who would gather intelligence from the shadows, to observe and not be seen, and only heard by the emperor's ear alone. Since the Dragon Emperor was ousted by the Beijiosaki and Garamonde, she's only served a handful of clans who rose to Imperial power, and given how she's immortal and she was raised to follow the emperor, she will only make herself useful to the emperor alone. Following the word of the emperor is all she's ever really known, and if there were no emperor of Beijio, she would fall upon her blade in a moment's instance.

In the recent era, with Munenori Garamonde, she is a tad more 'visible' as a harpist Bard for entertainment, and is known by her nickname of 'Shiek' and is a Bard for the Emperor and select members of his court, with her attire written off for being a combat ready servant.

Even so, her minstrel abilities are tied into her combat prowess which includes advanced ninja techniques not seen by mortal eyes select a few, swordsmanship and use of stunning flash bangs.

-Barrier Melody: Plays a number that will encase her allies in a 30 foot radius radiating from her, like Gathering Melody, but instead of damaging them, the spherical barrier protects those within from all forms of attack, repelling those not allowed with intensified energy that saps them of their strength whilst also launching them a few feet back. Barrier will remain active till something of extreme magical, demonic or spiritual power can pierce the barrier and stop her from playing her harp; the barrier can move along with her, useful for when she is protecting VIPs such as the Emperor.
-Nocturne of Pain: While focused on a single target, she the tune she plays becomes infused with her chi- the vibrations carried along the air affecting her intended target even should they be deaf or covering their ears, as the melody can still be felt by their heart or their bones thanks to the eerie, plucked notes. Her chi will react negatively within them, causing them to feel sharp pain, creeping randomly throughout their body. Its a useful interrogation device, so long as she keeps her eyes on her target while playing, but there haven't been any 'reported' deaths attributed from overuse of this melody...

Her skin tone is a lavender, bluish-purple coloration which is quite unique among Drows, making her a 'Pale one' which is due to her Snow Elf heritage. She has long length silvery hair with swept bangs over the left side of her face with a pair of purple barrettes above her left eye; her hair is pulled back into a messy, Beijionese high ponytail fashion with a black hair tie, and she has a pair of shoulder length side locks that frame either side of her face. She has long, outward pointed ears, with her left ear nicked and frayed on the tip with a hole through the upper part. She wears four, gold, hoop earrings- two smaller ones on the outer end and a pair of larger ones next to her cheeks. Her eyes are large, amethyst in color. Sylica D’Lyren is a slave in Mr. & Mrs. Jay’s harem, being one of the oldest and the most ‘skilled’, as she’s survived over 1000 years in their service. Members of the harem get cycled out before they get too old, and are eaten by the pair of criminal slugs. She’s managed to live this long and have some relative freedom as she trains the ‘next cycle’ and keeps things entertaining by also acting as a warrior in the gladiatorial fights in Mrs Jay’s ‘Playground’ as the warrior “Blackmyst”.

This wasn’t always the case, however. Let us rewind the clock back… way back. To better understand Sylica D’Lyren’s position, we must tell the old tale of the Seven Families of the North.



The Seven Families of Old Niflheim (assisted by Rufus Tenik)
The Snow Elves of the Far North are known, collectively and officially as ‘Old Niflheim’. Since the days the Honoured Yggdrasil Clan fell to the being known as ‘Krad’ ((Rufus Tenik Note: Often referred to as ‘the First War God’, ‘the Thirteenth War God’, or ‘The Forgotten War God’- but most of oracles neglect to speak the name of the entity in modern retellings since its been so forgotten)), the Snow Elves ventured from the ‘Great Tree’ northward where they settled in the frosted, and icy plains of the northern ice caps.

They were not alone. Vampires under the banner of House of Dracul were already pitched there, and they became their fierce enemies. Often under vampiric attack, as elvish blood is quite desirable they became exposed to and soon began reverse engineering the very advanced technology held by the vampires as well as their combat styles.

This war with the vampires raged, till the near entirety of the Vampire House Dracul was annihilated. Seven Elvish Chevaliers from Snow Elf families were responsible for felling the ancient progenitor vampire personally: House Lovecrest, House Cistaceae (later becomes House of Srey), House Dimitrescu, House Peony, House Bannilyth, House Orland, and House Lacroix.

The seven families erected a city known as ‘New Niflheim’ from the ruins of the Dracul Clan’s estates and lands, situated in the same areas as Kuleg in modern day Izhevesk. The Elves of the North held these legendary fortresses down for many centuries, ruling under the [/i]Ordre des Fleurs d'Argent[/i] (Order of the Silver Flowers), which eventually got more fancy in title, and became L'Ordre des Sept Chevaliers d'Argent (The Order of Seven Silver Knights). This all occurred centuries before the arrival of the Scardian and Forerunner Colonial Parties, and it was from some of those ruins left in the wake of the War with the Dracul that the ‘100 years of Blood’ would take root…
History is written by its victors. Like the name of the entity which destroyed the great tree, there were details ‘conveniently’ left out. The Chevaliers d’Argent, the Seven Families were in truth… eight.

House D’Lyren, was the eighth house which had aided in the defeat of the Grand Vampire Count. The Matriarch of the Household, Lady Sylvia D’Lyren was a snow elf who had scouted the ancient vampire’s lands alone in the centuries leading up to the final battle. In an attack by his elite vampires, Sylvia had fallen deep into the earth, where she was unexpectedly saved by Dark Elves, Drow- whom had been known as the Old Helheim clan back in those days.

She had stayed with them for a time, and got romantically involved, producing a second child, whom they named Sylica. Upon her return to the surface, when Sylica was still young, the young elven girl could remember the other families, especially those of House Dimitrescu, being rather opposed to her upbringing in the Snow Elf culture. For you see, being a Matriarchal society in these times, the Snow Elves only acknowledged female heiresses. Sylica D’Lyren was the Marchioness of House D’Lyren’s only daughter.  
She had an older brother, Lucius D’Lyren, who had been in charge of the estate since their mother’s vanishing. He was very kind to her, treated her as his own sister which was refreshing in this society.

Given she was nobility, she learned many things very fast. She soon became a Chevalier herself, and fought for her mother’s House. People used to make fun of her bluish-purple skin, so while the rest of the knights wore shiny silver white and blue colored armor, she adopted jet black, ebony-mythril alloy steel plating (Black Mythril) with accents of red. She became known as the ‘Blackmyst’ which dominated the battlefield and removed the vampire forces on their own turf, and was the only Chevalier crazy enough to willingly fight during the Long Night (the six months of darkness period).

She assisted her mother and the other families in destroying the Vampire Clan of Dracul. The eight families made their castles and became queens of their domains. They lived in peace for many years, till the Marchioness Sylvia D’Lyren was injured in hunting party. Sylica was at her mother’s bedside, and promised she’d continue to lead the honored D’Lyren name into further glory. Her mother passed, and she became the 8th Marchioness.

However… as you know before we got here, this was not to last. The other families did not care for House D’Lyren, and were actually planning to remove them for many reasons. One thought them to be heretical, another wanted the land they had built their keep upon, another simply did not like Sylica nor her mother’s choice to make her the head of House D’Lyren (House Dimitrescu). War amongst themselves seemed almost imminent, when Lucius D’Lyren, Sylica’s older half brother, proposed an idea to House Dimitrescu.

Sylica woke up with a blade to her throat, and found Helena Dimitrescu, the Heiress of House Dimitrescu holding that blade. She and her brother had conspired with the other families to remove House D’Lyren entirely in order to avoid a civil war. It was simple, given how Lucius was born from true Snow Elf stock, he had more ownership of the House of D’Lyren than Sylica, who was in the eyes of the other seven families a ‘bastard child’. Since Lucius was male however, he cannot hold onto his House legally, so instead would merge it through marriage with Helena, which he was more than happy to agree to.

Lucius told her he never cared for the Snow Elf society, but with her at the helm of this House they’d be lost and ruined. By marrying Helena, he’d at least be able to keep living comfortably and with a beautiful wife of his choosing then being used as a puzzle piece by Sylica later down the road.

She attempted to fight back, but it was in vain. The three would travel for some months, where they met up with the demon slug Master Jay and his Mistress. They sold her to him, and she almost escaped, but the Black Iron Shackles he put upon her, bound the elf to him… forever.



And so was the truth, and the story of how House D’Lyren fell. It was struck from record, and her mother’s immortal corpse was burned and ashes scattered to be forgotten… much like the seven families themselves in good time. Still, Sylica remains and hasn’t forgotten. She is still bound to Mr and Mrs Jay however… shackles which can only be removed by their key, or by them willingly.

Given their influence, they don’t mind her being armed or even wandering about. Since the chains can always call her back… she can never run far enough. Hide. She can’t even die without their saying so! She is a plaything for the slugs, and nothing more…



However, there was some hope for the elf. During the 2270s, Mr and Mrs Jay visited Abdel's fortress and brought along the hapless woman. He found the bugs repulsive, but entertained them nonetheless. A gracious host, the slugs had Sylica participate in the arena with Abdel's warrior slaves where she performed quite valiantly. The Sultan then offered to buy her, but the slugs refused vehemently. Still, the Black Emperor insisted and persisted during their visit. She doesn't know the specifics, but a Goblin was soon involved to broker a deal between both parties: Sylica D'Lyren would be commissioned into Abdel's services for a period of twenty years where her wages would be sent to the criminals till that twentieth year, from which she would become free. The catch is, her down payment would be immense and neither she nor Abdel are allowed to die during this twenty year period less the contract become void and nullified; Sylica should she be alive, would be back in chains and in Mr and Mrs Jay's services again without question. Should she die before hand, Teronian agents would have to work for the Slugs with no questions asked for as long as the slugs lived.

Other intricate details include she's not allowed to wear clothing outside her uniform and harem gear (jewelry and veils do not count). She started working for Abdel in Junius of 2273, sealing the deal with her body in his personal chambers and since has been in charge of counter Izheveskian defenses given she once fought for them in her past.

She doesn't particularly care for her role, as its a chance to finally be free of the slugs who she was sold to and if fighting this war against her former homeland allows her to kill anyone of House Dimitrescu it would only be a bonus. She's attached to the command of the 606th Defense Legion as well as the 600th Division of the Shadow Tamer Corps; the latter an issue as they are cloned vampires whom she dislikes given her past with them. She performs well as a soldier and officer however, her centuries old experience having not been hindered by her enslavement by the slugs...

Equipment: ’The Black Iron Shackles’: A cursed set of black metallic shackles that consist of a pair for the wrists, a pair for ankles and a choker. Gold rings hang off the pieces of blackened alloy that have no physical opening, as they are slipped on by the 'master' who wields the Key, and can fit any limb- the shackles do not make their shape till their master's intent is inscribed upon them. This subjugation device is plenty in number, made en masse of perhaps 20,000 units in a time long ago, by an impish craftsman, paid under commission by the Dragon Emperor of Beijio. They have no 'apparent' chains which bind them to their masters, which only becomes visible when one displeases said master. Chains will yank and pull the subject down, no matter how far away they are from the master. If the master wills it, they can even pull a subject away from wherever they are in the world, warping the slave to the master in a matter of moments. It is said the pain one endures when the chains are yanked, cannot be properly explained. Its different for everyone; and some get so used to the pain... they begin to enjoy it.

Sharqia Sash: Gifted to Sylica by Thrall, Abdel's attendant. It provides the wearer magical protection when worn, allowing one to survive in harsh and extreme environments. In absence of air, it allows one to breathe, and it provides a physical barrier that protects one from crushing forces, extreme heat and acidic environments. It is the traditional crimson sash of the raqisat sharqia, traditional Domescadian Belly Dancers who take their role literally. It allows them to survive the interior of a creature's stomach as they are entertainers of sentient beasts and creatures.

Gold Eagle Choker: More than a symbol of an elite officer. This choker charm worn with Major D'Lyren's outfit also protects her from grievous physical harm when worn. She'll be able to shrug off what otherwise would be an instantaneous death blow at least four times a week. Given to her by Thrall to further increase the odds of her survival.

Prized Possessions/Personal Items: The Blackened Arm of House D'Lyren: An ancient longsword that's survived the test of time. It is a dual edged blade made entirely of 'Black Mythril', an alloy of Ebony Ore when its been hammered around the supple, durable and yet lightweight mythril ore in a process that's been mostly forgotten since there isn't an exact science nor craft to it. It was forged from her Drow ancestors, a narrow and lengthy blade with a deep blood groove channel on either face of the sword. Three, polished garnet stones are inlaid onto the blade portion just above the narrow cross guard. The hand and a half grip has a pair of inlaid rubies with a wrapped, brown leather grip around the full metal grip. Its pommel is decorated to look like a black crown with a pair of inlaid polished garnet stones on each side. The blade is meticulously etched with decorative silverleaf scrollwork, from the crown like pommel to the base of the blade. The square like midsection of the cross guard has the Coat of Arms of the House of D'Lyren inscribed on both sides. The blade has a unique 'Hamon' to it, giving it a slightly Damascene look to it's dull, black sheen. Given its materials, it is lightweight but durable, capable of thrusting, slashing, defending, cutting and striking with a pair of edges and a razor fine point tip that never needs to be sharpened by hand.

-Diamond Body (from being Elf): Is immune to all poisons of any kind.

-Lineage of the Firstborn: Elvish races were among the very first of all sentient beings to emerge on Galiavan. As such, they are considered an Elder race. This status confers to them much of their natural born powers and abilities. These include their grace, supernatural strength, agility and speed, keen senses, and a much stronger connection to the arcane, and lifestream powers of the world.
-Elven Attributes: Traits that allow her to have faster reaction time, enhanced agility, enhanced stamina, enhanced dexterity and allow her eyes to see father and better than the average human. Also, due to Elven heritage, she can pick up faint sounds due to her ears, and is also 'immortal' in the sense she does not age like humans, and will continue to look like she is in her twenties for perhaps another thousand or so years.
-Low-Light Vision: She can see well in darkness, thanks to her Drow background
-Immune to Cold: She has an immunity to the cold, and is not impaired by the cold, even in her current state of undress, she can never become hypothermic in below freezing conditions nor will her body suffer similarly to others who are not hardened to the bitter cold.
-Precision Strike: She can strike with her sword with such keen precision to hit a small fly upon an opponent's shield.

Skills & Other Aspects:
-Climbing: Due to her training, Syl is an expert with climbing surfaces, and is skilled at free running.
-Sexy Clothing: Due to the nature of her clothing, she can easily distract foes attracted to her.
-Potion Making: She can create potent potions in the forms of liquids, jellies, and candy.
-Herbalist: She knows plantlife and what to avoid and what can heal ailments and injuries.
-Shadow Taming: She can tame beasts of earthly and primitive demonic birth.

Magic Abilities:
-Healing Touch: She can heal light and moderate wounds on the fly, mending injuries with a mix of herbal and magical practices.
-Poison Touch: She can create poisons and antivenoms on the fly with a mix of herbal and magical practices.
-Cryokinesis: Syl has the power to control frost, ice and snow to a limited extent.
  • Create ice - She can create ice out of thin air.
  • Icey Kiss - She can blow freezing cold air from her lips.
  • Ice shield - She can create a shield of ice. The shield is hard enough to withstand superhuman strength.
  • Freeze - She can completely but temporarily encase her opponent in ice.
  • Ice Aspect - She can imbue weapons with the power of ice.
  • Snow Golem - She can impart life to a golem made of ice and snow, powered by her cryokinesis. Though strong and willing to fight to the bitter end, they are weak to fire.
  • Ice Spikes - She can create large, deadly, pointed spikes made of ice, as well as launch them from the ground.
  • Ice Daggers - Can create multiple shards of ice from moisture in the air and then send them (rather telekinetically) at her foes. They can pierce and shatter upon impact with her target.


-D’Lyren Magical Seals/Curses: She can create delayed spells, long range spells, protective and destructive seals and or curses via talismans of her own creation. The process is a secret and complex one that was passed down from D’Lyren Matriarchs to the Heiress of the D’Lyren House.

-Dark Elf Arts: Given her Drow heritage, she’s learned some dark abilities passed on by traditional drow teachings.
  • Lunar Worship: By praying to Azula, the azure, permanent crescent shaped moon of Galiavan, she will be healed of her injuries, aches and replenish physical and magical energy lost.
  • Aspect of Dark Beasts: Web of the Spider: She can conjure magical strands of Dridder’s webbing. In truth, she’s learned the aspects of most dark creatures, but prefers the web of the spider and the venom of the scorpion styles.
  • Aspect of Dark Beasts: Venom of the Scorpion: She can conjure a deadly poison harmful to mortals and those of the living dead or undead.
  • Aspect of Dark Beasts: Abilities that are magically borrowed by the creatures worshiped as ‘Dark Beasts’, primarily the four schools: The Spider, The Scorpion, The Serpent, and The Wolf. Each school of thought shares similar traits to the other, but has one fundamentally unique ability which is learned from being proficient with said style.
  • Drow Invisibility: She can temporarily become invisible to the naked eye, her clothes, weapons and even the shackles are obscured in plain sight. She can technically be invisible as long as she wants. Curiously, during the full moon, her shadow will not be cast, which is the case of all Drow.


-Druidic Arts: She learned from a Minktail Elvish Oracle the Druidic Arts of magic which is of balance between one self, to beasts, nature, and the natural law of the land; to commune with the land and its beasts, and utilize the magic of ancient Fae and the spirits of nature.
  • Nature Channeling: Nature channeling is an ability used by most Faeries that allows them to project and manipulate mystical, arcane energy. The ability has been described as 'nature itself' and can easily harm any human within close range. A Fae with this ability can channel nature through their body and project it in a concentrated and powerful blast of light which seems to manifest as magical energy or a kinetic force, conclusively throwing or repelling objects a considerable distance. This power has been displayed to contain mysterious supernatural effects, such as breaking illusion and reversing/removing spells. Nature channeling is also the core feature of Fae magic and can be used for a number of purposes other than offensive blasts.
  • Psychic Shield: She is highly resistant to any/all mental intrusion, including psychic or empathic powers, Hypnosis, Mental Hallucination, deception, etc. Mind readers only “hear” static, while mind controllers are incapable of manipulating her shield. However, this isn’t the case for the master of the Black Iron Shackles, who can disrupt this power in an instant as the shackles allow zero freedom.
  • Magic Negation: Can temporarily negate magic used within the confines of the natural environment for a short period and or dampen the effect.
  • Beast Lordship: She has domain and control over forest beasts and animals around the world, She controls them to do her bidding like, help her during situations, use them against foes, use them to see locations and get information about a particular place, use them for flight. She can see through the creatures eyes that are controlled, allowing them to spy on others. She can also understand or communicate with them, hence creating and strengthening friendships; however it is a two way street, and they don’t necessarily have to oblige her call; also it seems not to work on demonic creatures or monsters for they are of a different sect.
