Scarlet Jungle Brush

Post  Vum'ala on Sun Mar 12, 2017 6:51 pm

The jungle is littered with shells and carcasses of inhuman beasts, weapons, gore and wounded fighters. Red, purple and black are the new colors of what was once a harmonious, lush jungle, which has now become the stage of a long, drawn out and destructive battle.

The air which would normally carry the sounds of birds, rivers and wildlife is now deafening quiet, the sound of explosions long gone now, and even the tormented cries of the wounded and dying have long began to lessen in intensity, enough to destroy whatever courage is left in the survivors.

Save for the one who was smiling. Her crimson hair drips with blood infused sweat, which also runs down her supple and curvaceous body like crimson roots growing upon a silky smooth surface. Her ample bosom bounced and wobbled as she confidently strode the battlefield, her wide hips swaying with much swagger as she spins her giant axe with the ease of a feather over her head, before catching the weapon; her left foot on the crotch of a begging, wounded soldier! "Pl-please! Spare me!! Vum'ala!!" screamed her wounded foe, who was bleeding profusely from his missing eye and the great gash which had cut deep into his demonic chest plate. The crimson maiden smirked, her lips simply rising into an expression of joy as she swept the weapon down in a wide left handed arc! Crimson sprayed, drenching the terrifying beauty, whilst her pleading enemy's head rolled past her clanking metallic greaves.

Two trained armies fight each other for control of the area, but it's becoming clear which side will win. Her side. The dead and wounded of the opposition are abundant and lay in heaps around the torn jungle floor; the faces of the fighters are grim with fatigue and the certainty of death as she approaches in her sultry, relaxed gait. She still remained unphased by her actions, stepping through the geyser of blood, coating her body thick with it as she continued her path towards the survivors. They continue to fight, but their fight is a hopeless one.

With the rush of victory coursing through their bodies the winning side fights as if they're invincible. Some have succumbed to rage and are carelessly charging any enemy without a care for their own safety, while others can only think of home and what they left behind.

The toll on both nature and former humanity is unimaginable, but many of the former humans who have been enlisted in this demonic conquest for power have embraced their... 'new existence' this day. It'll likely take years before this battlefield will have recovered. It's clear craters, gore and bodies have taken the place of shrubs, plants and trees. More so, Vum'ala the Red's legacy only continues to grow.

Having disposed much of the enemy force, she returns to her allies, seemingly unaware of the threat which slithered between the corpses of beasts and humanoid behind her. She is dripping in crimson, her axe which is leaning across her shoulders is glowing with the absorbed blood of her enemies; her breasts bobble and sway with the shifting motion of her hips; her tattered red silk skirt flap wavering behind her right thigh.

Her allies attempt to warn her, but it is too late as the massive Demonic Serpent rises from behind her:

It's prehensile tongue shoots out from its jaws, wrapping around the rather relaxed Vum'ala, coiling tightly around her vivacious, jiggling form. She is yanked up, her legs kicking lightly as she is drawn into the massive creature's fangy jaws.

CHOMP!

The sharp maw of the massive hell-beast closes tightly around it's lithe prey, and instantly kicks its head back with a gut wrench inducing swallow:

*GULP*

Wet and gross sounding, the bulge that once was Vum'ala the Red travelled down the shaft in a large, wiggling and struggling shape. The demonic serpent roared as she entered the highly corrosive stomach, vanishing before her allies as the beast licked its chops of its assured victory. "FOOLS! RELY ON SUCH A FOOLHEARTY AND TASTY SPECIMEN, LET ME, VEL'TAR THE HELLBEAST SEND YOU TO OBLIVION AS WELL!" It lashed out with its spiky and barbed tail, skewering the victors left and right now that their guard was down! The armored lines of battle crazed former humans shrieked as they were impaled and smashed into red paste by the massive serpent's body who devoured their trump card in front of them! Many of the soldiers who had employed the devoured Vum'ala now began to show fear, and flee before the might of the demonic serpent Vel'Tar, as a small detachment of the enemy forces backed the serpent from the shadows now that Vum'ala was defeated!

"YES...RUN! YOUR FEAR ONLY ADDS TO MY HUNGER! YOUR BONES WILL BECOME TROPHIES FOR THE TRUE HEIR OF THIS REALM, MY MASTER, KOR’VAN BAAL! " roared the massive creature as he tore through the once victorious army’s line. Baal’s secondary forces cut through Vum’ala’s allies like a hot knife through butter.

One of the armored demonic knights roared as he struck the serpent with his massive glaive, drawing purple blood from the hissing giant’s wound! He held the beast back, turning his crimson eyes to his allies behind them, trying to reignite their morale! “Do not flee comrades! Vum’ala may be lost, but we have to hold for the sake of Lord Ruez'ual!” he cringed as the massive beast coiled around him, bringing his fangy maw to the Knight Commander’s level:

"POINTLESS HEROISM FOR A FALSE LORD, NONE BUT MASTER BAAL SHALL ASCEND TO THE TITLE OF DEMON KING!" hissed the giant, ready to ''reunite'' the Knight Commander with the fallen Vum’ala… saliva black as ink dripping from his mouth over the demonic man, his sticky tongue coiling the Knight’s neck…

"'Lost', Nefarious?" Inquired a sassy, feminine tone that sounded jovial, confident and rather muffled from the layers of fat, flesh and crimson scales. The Knight Commander's eyes widen, smiling a toothy grin despite the tongue which wrapped around his neck, Vel'Tar grunting from confusion...before pain. His grunts became a roaring shriek from the torment, the scales beside Knight Commander Nefarious' head began to ripple and bulge; purple, oily blood dripped from a scaled metallic gauntlet which had exploded from the serpent's stomach!

*SPLISSH!*

"More...like taking... a break at the Spa, Nef-arious!" Vum'ala's voice was muffled till she finally yanked her other arm from the writhing monster's stomach, and with a literal gut wrenching sound, the woman spread open the flesh, exploding with purple gore, the crimson haired, buxom demoness yanked her head, shoulders and bust from the demon's belly! Her hair was damp, her skin was shiny and wet, purple with the blood and gore of Vel'Tar.

"URK...GRA-HKAHHH!!" the beast roared in terrible torment, his body unable to move as Vum’ala’s gravity magic kept him in place! Vum’ala smiled, breasts draping from the wound she inflicted on the serpent, waist deep in the beast as she licked the purple gore rolling down her face and giggled at Nefarious’ plight, reaching out and patting his humanoid cheek with her purple blood drenched gauntlet in a mocking fashion. “Seems you are in a bit of a bind, Commander." She teased, before withdrawing her body back into the beast, the scales bulging and rippling before Scourgeborne’s blade cut through them, making a larger incision for which she could escape from. Vel’Tar continued to shriek as she slowly, purposefully, removed her tall, sexy form from his stomach! Acids and blood spewed onto the jungle floor, burning roots and sinking into the earth as she removed one thick thigh after the other from the beast, bending down as she exited, and yanking Scourgeborne from the belly.

"HUH-HOW?!" Vel’Tar screamed before he was silenced with a single swipe from Vum’ala; a blade beam emission from her axe severed the disgusting creature’s head from its neck.

Satan’s beard, you’re annoying~!" Vum’ala complained, while Vel’Tar’s massive severed head slipped from his body and fell with a heavy ground shaking thud; spinning her axe once more before severing the coils which held the commander. Once free he joined Vum’ala, who was dripping purple and slimy.

Huh, relaxing on the job Vum’ala?” Nefarious asked, smirking as he patted her shoulder, the allies of Ruez'ual upon seeing Vum’ala safe began to regroup and take on Baal’s secondary force with renewed energy! Humming to the chorus of war cries and battle, Vum’ala turns to Nefarius with a relaxed grin, holding Scourgeborne in her left hand and letting it lean on her shoulder; her right hand pulling back damp crimson hair which clung to her slimy skull: “Hardly. Fizzy like a spa, but too cramped for my liking. Besides, I thought you guys could handle a renegade worm! I severely misjudged you Commander." she teased, winking before turning to the second battle which was forming.

Huh, we could have, but with the shock and all. What can you do but panic when the crimson tide vanishes? For a mercenary, you're quite the inspiration, Vum’ala. You are a Champion amongst Demons.” he complimented

Hah. You’re not my type Commander. You’re cute, but you are lacking what I seek in a decent fuck."

Hah, whats that?” he asked, turning to her with a smirk.

Her eyes flashed, silver and unique. Her lips peeled into a toothy smile. “A soul." she replies simply. As they looked at one another there was a loud explosion in the background, which made her break contact, turning to the battle at hand again. He did as well as they both chuckled lowly.

Shall we?"

Lets. To BATTLE!
_______________

Once the second battle was over, the victorious Hell Knights of Ruez'ual vanquished the forces of Kor’van Baal. Vum’ala, still sticky with Vel’Tar’s stomach fluids and purple blood, was also covered in a fresh coat of crimson. She observes the jungle battlefield, which was now a new clearing stained purple and crimson. She saw Nefarious rallying some of the troops, and the execution of enemy survivors. Vum’ala had put her stake in their plot for the throne of the Demon King, the previous one’s sudden death causing much uproar as the Realm became divided once more. His heirs absent, she was sure that the true Princes of the Realm would never be acknowledged the power which was technically their birthright.

I’m taking a walk, Nefarious!" Vum’ala alerted the Knight Commander, cupping her mouth with her right hand, her left holding the axe which relaxed against her left shoulder like before, shouting with a smile. She then playfully waved goodbye and began to head deeper into the Jungle Bush. Time for me to leave for a while. If Ruez’ual’s forces start getting the upper hand, I’ll rejoin their company. In the meantime, back to wandering. she thought, her sultry, swaying gait seen from the others as she crossed through the dense foliage, her swinging hips the last thing they seen before she vanished.

It wasn't until Vum'ala entered the deeper jungles that she would notice that the morning mist was unusually thick, and moving like smoke. The underbrush was almost completely cut off from human vision, and the light had darkened.

"You have done well. young Vum'ala." a voice carried through the mist whispered into the Demoness' ears and mind like someone was right beside her.

Then, the white cloudy fog began to swirl infront of her like a miniature vortex.

"Your efforts have caught the personal attention of the ones from the real home. The Empress is now taking an interest in you."

The voice was becoming clearer, and then she heard the footsteps of something very large, metalic... and seemingly mechanical.

Vum'ala raised a brow, from the supernatural voice, her ears twitching slightly from the creatures words, turning with her axe at the ready, figuring it could have been an assassin from one of the other clans but quickly dispelled that theory when she saw the mechanical creature step forth. She lowered her axe, staring open-mouthed at the technological wonder. “A construct?...No your definitely more than that." she spoke lowly in wonder at the humongous being. She raised a brow, pulling away her bangs from her right eye, still damp with Tel'Var's gastric juices. “Real home? ...Empress?" she paused before gasping in shock. “Wait, the legends... Could they be true? Heh, if you were any other old demon, I would imagine you a zealot from some disjointed clan. But..." she began to blink rapidly as she tried to understand what was actually occurring.

The holographic visage of the Cycloid smirked in the mist. Currently he was only about as tall as she was, but in reality he could overshadow buildings.

"I am a cybernetic being. And I am the first Viceroy of Hell. I serve the Empress Alexastria, You once knew her as the Fallen Andariel, Lady of Anguish. Many events and much time has passed since the sundering. Andariel is now the last of the Fallen. The others have been destroyed by our old enemy. Andariel reclaimed the power of the other fallen within herself, and became Alexastria, The Empress of All Hell." the Cycloid explained.

When Vum'ala explained her doubt. The Cycloid nodded and showed the skin of his chest and arms. All around the mighty demon's form where emblazoned with runes, like branding marks burned into the flesh, but each rune, even through this transparent hologram, throbbed with power against Vum'ala's senses.

"Do you know what these are? asked the Cycloid, as each rune and sigil pulsed a different color for a split moment as the demon energized them.

"These are the runes of the Dark Cathedral. They represent the empowerment of rewards we have received in the service of Hell and it's throne. Runes such as these can only be given by the current bearer of the crown and no other, for only she holds the power to open the black book housed in the Cathedral. These runes are all the proof you should need that the Cathedral, and thus Hell still exists."

She smiled upon hearing the lore, her silver eyes alight with a bewildered flame. “It is true then!" She bowed to the creature, and looked up anxiously. “Of what do I owe this honor? What does the Empress seek of me?" she asked.

The creature grinned, it's enormous fangs elongated strangely at the action.

"You have become one of the heralds of her arrival. In 3 centuries time, much will change. You will be one of those who turns interests to our favour, for when we arrive, much will need to be done to secure this dimension. Once we are underway, you, and the Hell Shard you have called home for so very long will be returned to where it belongs." The Cycloid gestured, and plaxed one of it's tri-clawed metal hands upon Vum'ala's horned head, and the demoness could feel the infusion of unearly, immortal power coming from the greater demon lord.

"First gift. I reawaken the power that has been denied to you for all the long years of your separation from the power and guidance of the Fallen. Reclaim now, what once was yours by birthright!

One of the sigils of the Cycloid burned to life and travelled through it's bretheren to finally impart itself onto the skin of Vum'ala herself.

Once the Cycloid had awakened Vum'ala's dormant power, and bestowed upon her one of his own runes as a welcoming gift, the monster spoke again.

"I also have a message for you... from some beings you may have long forgotten. Your projenitors miss you dearly, it would seem." Then, before Vum'ala's kneeling form, a black scroll appeared from the ether. And it contained a message from her parents she never thought she would see again.

"I understand many of our sundered kin do not realize this, but even though we may be demons, we still value our kin dearly..."
