'The Wolves Den' Bar

Katelyn sat at the bar, her back flat against it as she was looking through a directory of numbers on the Rolodex. She had the landline in one hand, and was thumbing through the numbers with the other. She paused, and then dialed a number before lifting it to her head. After a few moments she stated: "Hey, Mickey you old Scardian booze hound, I need a fresh shipment on the double; I asked for it weeks ago!" She yelled. "We'll talk about your delivery fee when you arrive you daft drunkin' bastard!" she then held the switch hook down, before dialing another number. "Hey Jim, if you can, I need a shipment of Stims in pronto for me and the others," she says in a gruff manner before adding: "I know its not your delivery date, but we're really hurting. I'll make it worth the extra effort hon." she then hung up, sighing.

"Damn, I cant rely on anyone these days. Since that Casino opened up, half of my delivery guys have been getting bought out by them. What a fucking pain in the ass!" she exclaimed slamming her hand down upon the bar table's surface before turning to one of her girls. "Freya, hand me one of the bottles of bourbon, would ya?" she says with her hand outstretched and palm facing up. She soon received the bottle from the silver haired beauty and nodded, before turning away again and bit the cork off.

"*spits the cork* Dammit all... I should walk on in that place, show them a piece of my mind." she grumbled, before taking a decent swig of the bottle. Sure it was 7 am just about, but she didn't give a fuck.

Kate sat there, groaning, digging her nails into the counter before she just had enough, and she didn't mean the liquor. She slammed the bottle down, standing up and wiped her mouth with the back of her left hand. "Dammit.... I'll be back in a while." she says, frustrated to her girls, storming out of the establishment and into the streets.

Random Mobs wrote:Huels' blip continued towards Highlands Marina, taking a few side streets however and also turning towards the Wolf's Den as it was marked on Grimoire's map. The blip stopped there abruptly.

Grimoire followed Huel to the Wolf's Den, keeping his lean body near the shadows of a nearby building as he observed the latter enter the pub. Well the Director did say he was friendly with the wolves. I'm going to have to listen in somehow without raising much suspicion. He thought, removing his phone once more as he then hacked into the pub's Security Network, bypassing it with the T.I.R.S. network codes to have a 'peek' on the inside. He also connected a pair of ear buds extending from his phone to also patch into the mainframe's audio, if there was any.

If no audio, I can just read their lips. he thought, absently.

Grim couldn't make much given their position and lack of audio, but what he did pick up wasn't really anything of substantial use to the TIRS. Though, this 'Alpha' they spoke of, he assumed was not in the loop with Huel and the women in there. And that there was someone calling the shots above him, which made sense, given he doubted Huel be of any use other than pure muscle. Grim was generally a good judge of character, and he doubted Huel was anything more than a bully and collector. In either case, Huel and his cohorts were up to no good.

Grim hung back, observing quietly to see if there was more.

Suddenly, Huel picked up his phone, answering confidently at fist... but then his face became pale. His body stiffened up, and cold sweat began to trickle down his face and neck. He speaks something away from the camera's sight before slowly and shakily hanging up. He mouthed "He's dead..."

One of the wolfkin approached him and he threw his arms out, backhanding her! This time he could be somewhat heard even from where Grim was standing!

"BITCH! We's gotta get to the warehouse, prompto like!" he screeched! The wolf-kin and man began to hastily exit the bar, none taking notice of Grim for they had bigger fish to fry! They ran to their Chesluk Gunslinger's, Huel taking residence in the back seat of one of the vehicles before each peeled away from the curb! They were heading towards the docks of course.

Grimoire ducked into the shadows of the alley for cover. The sun was yet high, but the darkness of the alley and his suit hid him well. He poked his head out, watching them peel away, still heading towards the docks. Hmm... I wonder what the sudden outburst could be about. One moment they're celebrating, the next... in a panic. He checks his T.I.R.S. phone, looking through any police or agency updates. One caught his eye among all the random updates. "...Bliss Manager Howard Baracus missing. Suspected to have been murdered." his yes narrow at the sign of the report. The T.I.R.S. had been building a case with the local police against the man, in fact they were sure he was the overboss of the local mob. Now that he was dead, it would normally spell chaos... or opportunity, for the local crime families. If Huel was indeed working under Baracus... even under one of his cronies, they'd no doubt be getting rid of as much evidence of their crimes before we eventually are lead to their warehouse. I should hurry, maybe I'll call it in... he was about to do that when he suddenly stopped.

A foreign thought entered his mind. ...what if I don't? Surely I'm a capable member of Tenik Industrial's reconnaissance agents, I can handle this case by myself. If I call the higher ups, they'll only take credit for it themselves! He blinked, shaking his head of the odd idea. Still... it was tempting. Perhaps... I'll investigate first. I don't want to cause a stir in case I follow Huel only to find out he's forgot to turn off an oven or something stupid that man is certainly capable of doing... At the first sign of danger I'll call it in. He finally was able to tell himself. Getting himself killed over something so stupid as personal gain wouldn't be seen as heroic. Not to mention, he liked living most days.

Grimoire activated the auto-drive feature on his Regalia many streets back, programming the coordinates to Tenik Industrial's Harbor Docks. It should arrive there soon after Huel would, and not too long before Grim would arrive. Readying himself, Grimoire begins to pursue Huel and his gang. Given his knowledge of the city's streets, and his athletic runners body, Grim wouldn't take long getting to the Harbor.
