Vehicle Bay Empty Vehicle Bay

He didn't like the idea of flying in to Galideno, again... being a product of a somewhat xenophobic village, half accepting the newer age while the other half considered the technology advancement sorcery of the Forerunner's past... his experience with the modern age was still limited in some respects.

He opened a door to the large hangar and coughed. "Excuse me? Anyone here?" He called out, entering.

Upon entering one of the Tower's vehicle bays on the ground floor, Levi would have seen various vehicles from ground vehicles meant for support, and air vehicles undergoing maintenance. Various individuals were roaming about, staff fine tuning the various exotic crafts while the young man stood there dumbfounded, as if he never stepped inside this room! One of the faces in the room would be recognizable, as she finished delivering a crate full of spare parts to one of the mechanics on hand.

She turned to him, her stern expression upon his boyish features, a slight scowl present upon her face as she glared at him. Why does he always look that way when around these vehicles? This isn't the 2190's! She thought, puffing hot air from her plush pink lips in the form of a sigh. She grabbed her sheathed Duke's longblade from where it had been leaning against a wall, just out of range of the bustling mechanics and workers.

She began to walk briskly in his direction, pausing once in front of him. "Levi..." she began. His name was one she remembered among many of the squires whom she trained alongside. Levi was one whom was bound and determined to become a Knight for the King, almost as badly as her own desire, something she respected in a friendly rival. "...try not to get in the way of the mechanics? As you see, they're rather busy." she said sternly, shaking her head from his naivety, brushing past him as she made her way out and into the halls of the Tower.

She began to walk briskly in his direction, pausing once in front of him. "Levi..."

Levi was taking in the sights of the room yet, the way everything looked still was bizarre to his mind, when his eyes took in the one being of familiarity in the room. Turning to face Anastasia, the Elf who was a squire much like himself, he smiled. She turned to face him, again with her trademark scowl that made her appear cold. I wonder if she ever smiles... He thought while she approached, and for a moment as he pictured her smiling in his mind realized she'd just call his name.

"Ah!" he yelped, startled by her voice suddenly accompanying his imaginary view of her smiling, finding himself blushing slightly by her calling his name. He turned his attention to the shorter Elf, who stood there with the imaginary visage of her smiling face quickly melting to her annoyed glare. He gulped, and nodded to her. "A-ahem, Anastasia. What are you doi-" before he could finish, she cut him off.

His eyes became lidded, and his mouth was agape in a goofy expression as he felt the world turn to ice around him. Annnd we're back to reality. He thought, chuckling nervously as she brushed past his shoulder. Ana in spite of her size was like a winter wolf in terms of ferocity, and equally a mystery to him. He was still half convinced she hated his guts, as sparring sessions with her compared to others in their class were near to fatal, well maybe not fatal, but bones have been broken when training with her. He turned to face her back as she walked out. She doesn't pull her punches that one. I can never tell what is going on in that Highborn's head, if only she was a bit more friendly...

Levi sighs, and then turns to face the motley of staff working on the alien looking vehicles. He feels cold sweat resume down the back of his neck, not really making heads or tails of who he should talk to or what he was looking for in terms of travel. "Perhaps I should get packed first..." he says with embarrassment, turning to face the door in which he entered from.
